Bereits Ende letzten Jahres freuten wir uns in der Werkstatt über einen sehr außergewöhnlichen Besuch: Dr. Reg. Murphy, seine Schwester Diana und seine Frau Nicki waren unsere Gäste. Sie kamen aus dem kleinen Inselstaat Antigua und Barbuda nach Deutschland und suchten unter anderem Tonpfeifen für das Museum auf Antigua. Besonders interessant war es von Dr. Reg. Murphy zu erfahren, dass es zahlreiche archäologische Funde von Tonpfeifen in der Karibik gab und somit Tonpfeifen in dem Museum nicht fehlen dürfen. Darüber hinaus vermittelte er einen tollen Einblick vom Leben in Antigua, wo er nicht nur als Leiter des Museums arbeitet, sondern unter anderem auch als Direktor des Nationalparks, Archäologe und Mitarbeiter der UNESCO tätig ist.
Nun erhielten wir die netten Grüße aus der Karibik mit einigen schönen Fotos, die wirklich große Freude bereitet haben. Vielen Dank noch einmal.
